Dario Amara is an experienced chief executive officer, director and chairman with business experience and networks gained over some 36 years in Australia and internationally. His experience spans the building, infrastructure & property sectors.
Specifically, Dario has a track record in; establishing and developing businesses, with particular strengths around: strategic planning, project development, project management, business improvement and building high performance teams.
Concurrent with his roles as a CEO, he has served as a Project Director, Project Board Chairman or as a Member of Alliance Teams on large and complex projects, delivered by a variety of delivery models.
Additionally, and over some 14 years, Dario has served as a Non Executive Director or Chairman, on various publicly listed company Boards, including; AUSTAL Limited(ASX:ASB), Mission NewEnergy Limited(ASX:MBT) and Emerson Stewart Limited(now ASX:VRS) which he founded and listed on the ASX 30 months after launching.
His interest in the arts has translated to over 25 years of pro bono service on arts and cultural boards, including, having served as Chairman of the West Australian Opera Company, the Art Gallery of Western Australia and Heritage Perth and as a Board Member of the Perth International Arts Festival, the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra Foundation and the Murdoch University Art Collection Board.
Dario is a graduate from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Engineering – Civil with Distinction,
a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer, on the National Engineers Register and a Registered Building Practitioner and Building Contractor, Western Australia, since 1984.
